Due to popular demand, we are excited to offer a new fixed-rate course tailored for aircraft owner-operators.
Have you already obtained your instrument rating but haven’t flown in real IMC conditions for a while? We are here to help you regain your confidence and proficiency in the clouds.

This course consists of three comprehensive lessons, each followed by thorough debriefing. By the end of the program, you will feel at home in IMC conditions once again.
- Lesson 1: Skills Assessment
This session will evaluate your skills in a manner similar to an IPC in VMC. You will complete three approaches, practice holding patterns, and address unusual attitudes to ensure your motor skills are sharp and precise.
**Duration: 3-hour flight, 1-hour ground debrief.
- Lesson 2: Reintroduction to IMC
We will cover departure procedures, straight and level flight in clouds, precision approaches, and full-stop landings. We will likely conduct three approaches at KMRY, KSNS, and KHAF.
**Duration: 3-hour flight, 1-hour ground debrief.
- Lesson 3: Advanced Approaches in IMC
This lesson focuses on more complex approaches, including non-precision approaches, circle-to-land maneuvers, and missed approaches, at airports such as KWVI, KSJC, and KAPC.
**Duration: 3-hour flight, 1-hour ground debrief.

- **Guarantee: We guarantee IMC flight skill proficiency by the end of the three lessons. If you do not feel proficient, you will receive free instruction until you do, or you can opt for a refund of half your course fee.

We can meet you at the following airports with no additional travel fee: KHWD, KSQL, KOAK, KLVK, & KPAO.
For other Bay Area airports, a travel fee of $75 per meeting will apply.

Our lessons are available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, ensuring a high probability of encountering actual IMC conditions. We can meet 4-8pm for you VMC skills assessment training day.
