I own an Ercoupe near Austin Texas. Looking for an instrument-rated pilot and above (CFI & CFII would be preferred) to build time with.

I obtained my PPL license in March 2024 and have been studying and building time for IFR.

Since the purchase of the Ercoupe, I've done many safety work on the engine. The plane flies super well and is cheap to operate. Happy to do a 3-5hrs XC flight. I need more simulated instrument time so if you're looking to build time cheap this could work out well for you.

Cost: We'll split the cost of the fuel + $35 an hour for operation costs. Ercoupe burns an average of 5 gallons per hour.

Ercoupe has no rudder pedals and taxi like you drive a car, it's easy to fly and land it. It'll take a few landings to get a better feel for it. It will not stall nor spin so super safe plane to fly.

I’m a CFI/FO but still want to stay involved with GA. I don’t have an aircraft but I have plenty of experience doing flight reviews in owner aircraft. For most people I can do a $100 review out the door including both the flight and ground.

I find it interesting that I have to pay TSA and pay to get fingerprinted, as before coming into the country, I had to get fingerprinted.

As a programmer, I find it interesting that it's not all linked together.

Any insight on this topic? Feel free to share.

Taking the TBM 940 to Oshkosh. Traffic was more than expected, but great experience.

So there's gonna be a fly in event at Lake Texoma State Park (F31). This airfield is going to be closing so the locals have arranged a fly in event there on the 14th of September.
